I'm Erin,

I am the owner of Ray of Sunshine Photography and lead photographer. I'd like to think I'm an extroverted introvert. I am very laid back and always go with the flow which helps my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. I always make sure our time together is FUN and enjoyable so it never feels like a photo shoot but rather a wonderful memory for you to look back on.

I love everything that is different, not sure why but I always gravitated towards that. Like when I changed the spelling of my name to Eryn for a few years in h.s/college because I wanted to be unique haha! Maybe not the best decision but you get the point. This love for the unique can also be seen in my photography. I love out of the box ideas or creating things that haven't been done before. I love when couples incorporate meaningful and sentimental elements into their wedding so that their wedding isn't a generic wedding but THEIR wedding.

I also love wedding planning and designing really cool wedding concepts. In my free time I have done some unique styled shoots all based around out of the box ideas or themes. And so far all of my shoots have had an animal involved. We've got to hang out with llamas, a mini pony, hawk, and a monkey! So if you need any wedding planning help I have a great list of amazing vendors I've worked with and I'd like to think I have some pretty cool ideas 😉

NICE TO MEET YOU!

Traveling and adventures are my obsession. We make sure to go to a different country every year. Here's where we've been so far!

(with ten random questions!)

Ok, I have 2- the ceremony because its so beautiful and I always get choked up on the words spoken during this time. I also love the toasts because I feel I get a deeper understanding of who my couples are as people. And who doesn't love some good funny stories too!

My family consists of my husband who I started dating in 2009 when we met going to college in FL. We have two kids, our 5 year old son Cayden and our now 1 year old daughter Kaya, We also have 2 dogs, Gambino is our pitty and Nesta is our toy poodle.

We've been in business for over 4 years but I started my passion for photography probably 9 years ago when I used to take pictures all day of me and my husband's adventures and travels.

Doesn't get more random then this:
I grew up on a farm where we raised sheep. I ended up doing 4H and showing them at the county fairs every weekend in the summer. We used to breed and raise them- my favorite was when the cute lil babies were born!

That's an easy answer for me, it would be my favorite musician Bob Marley. I have absolutely loved his music since high school on. What I wouldn't give to go see him in concert. (I have seen his sons in concert- Julian, Damian, and Stephen)

I think he would be a fascinating person to hang out with. I visited his house he once lived in in Kingston Jamaica and it was an amazing experience!

Well when we get to have our wedding we plan to dance to
Beautiful Thing by Grace Vanderwaal

Soooo we eloped in Thailand but we were supposed to have our wedding with our friends and family in Orlando FL in April 2020. We have had to postpone due to COVID-19. Originally we were saying Thailand was our honeymoon but now that we have to wait another year, let's get a honeymoon in! We are deciding  between:
an African safari, Bali, or Greece

Hands down- grilled cheese over everything!
